Cramlington Town Council serves the  35,000 residents of this thriving town in South East Northumberland. We are proud of the excellent facilities including schools, housing, shopping, leisure and health that are available and continually strive to do all we can to benefit the local community.

HRH Prince Philip, The Duke of Edinburgh

 Cramlington Town Council is saddened to hear of the death of His Royal Highness Prince Phillip.

We send our sincere condolences to the royal family.

Town Mayor Loraine De Simone  expressed her sorrow:  “I was so saddened to hear of the passing of HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, who has stood by our amazing Queen through thick and thin during her long reign. My sympathies go to Her Majesty and her family during this difficult time. May God’s peace be with them.”

Restart Grant applications open in Northumberland

Applications have opened for Restart Grants for Northumberland businesses.  The grant is intended to support non-essential retail, hospitality, accommodation, leisure, personal care and gym businesses which have been affected by Covid-19 restrictions. Applications for this scheme close on 30 June 2021.

Our Services

Cramlington Town Council was established in 2009 following the reorganisation of local government in Northumberland. We have 12 elected councillors and a wide range of responsibilities. Our key objectives are to ensure Cramlington has a bright future and to work well with local businesses and residents to deliver that.
