At a time when staying healthy is even more important, smokers in Northumberland are being urged to take the step and give up cigarettes for good. Liz Morgan, Director of Public Health at Northumberland County Council, said: “Quitting is one of the best things smokers can do for their health. Cramlington Town Council was established in 2009 following the reorganisation of local government in Northumberland. We have 12 elected councillors and a wide range of responsibilities.
