A resounding yes! For the Cramlington Neighbourhood Plan

The Cramlington Neighbourhood Plan sets out a vision, strategy and range of policies for Cramlington up to 2033. These relate to a range of topics, including, but not limited to, housing and employment, the quality of life of residents, and the protection and enhancement of the environment.

The referendum for the Cramlington Neighbourhood Plan was held on Thursday 30^th January with an outstanding majority of 84% voting yes to formally adopt the plan.

Following the result Cllr Wayne Daley stated “I’m thrilled that the neighbourhood plan has been adopted and I would like to thank everyone who voted yes in support. A very big thank you to all those involved who put in a huge amount of work over the last 6 years to create this fantastic document for the good of Cramlington.”

Cramlington Town Council will provide further information in due course on how we will be implementing the plan.
