Agenda for Full Council Meeting on July 4th
CRAMLINGTON TOWN COUNCIL
There will be a meeting of the Full Council to be held at The Community Room, 1st Floor, Concordia Sports Centre, Cramlington on Thursday 4th July 2019 commencing at 6.45pm. The Agenda for the meeting is set out below.
Public Question Time
Public Question Time will be held prior to the Council Meeting and will commence at 6:15pm. The Chair is to invite members of the public present to put questions to or draw relevant matters to the attention of, the Council, prior to commencement of business. Public Question shall be conducted in accordance with rules agreed by the Council under section 1(b) of Standing Orders.

3. MINUTES OF THE LAST MEETING
To agree the minutes of the meeting held on 9th May 2019.
4. DISCLOSURE OF INTERESTS
Members are requested to advise Council of any Declarations of Interest
appertaining to items on this agenda.
5. NOMINATIONS FOR CHAIRMAN OF THE TOWN COUNCIL
Following the resignation of Cllr. John Collins nominations are sought for the position
of Chairman of the Town Council for the remainder of the civic year.
6. ADDITIONAL PLAY PROVISION AT SEVEN OAKS AND NORWICH WAY
The Town Clerk will report on the provision of a multi games play area at Seven Oaks
park and the extension of Norwich Way playground to include an “assault course”
style facility.
7. CLEAN CRAMLINGTON CAMPAIGN
The Town Clerk will report on progress with the campaign.
8. ALLOTMENT PROVISION FOR DISABLED PEOPLE
The Administration Manager will outline proposals to pilot an initiative to provide an
allotment facility specifically designed to meet the needs of disabled people.
9.VE & VJ DAY WORKING GROUP
The council is asked to support the establishment of a working group to consider and
co-ordinate celebrations to mark the 75th anniversary of VE&VJ Day celebrations in
2020. Nominations are sought for 4 town councillors to serve on the working group.
10. MEMBERS QUESTIONS
Members are invited to address questions to the Chairman or Clerk and to report
matters for consideration.

Pursuant to Section 1(2) of the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 members of the
Public and Press are excluded due to the confidential nature of the business to be transacted.
11. COMMUNITY CHEST APPLICATIONS
(1) Cramlington Branch Royal British Legion: A request for £500 towards a recruitment
campaign.
(2) Oxygen Community Radio: A request for £500 towards an advertisement campaign.
