Appeal from Hope Centre Foodbank
Milk and tinned fruit are top of the list of items required for the The Hope Centre’s latest foodbank appeal.
The Cramlington charity has said that the milk can be fresh or UHT and they would also appreciate tinned fruit and sugar at the moment as well as their usual essentials of tinned and dried food.
These include Sweetcorn, Meatballs, Carrots, Corned Beef, Sardines, Instant Mash, Pot Noodles, Crisps, Deodorants, Shampoo, Toothpaste, Toothbrushes, Sweets, Cleaning Products, Toilet Rolls, Mens’ Toiletries and strong carrier bags.
Two items that they have sufficient of at the moment are baked beans and dried pasta.
The Hope Centre is at Forum Way, NE23 6SJ, and is open from 10-3pm Monday to Friday.
There is a collection point outside the door so social distancing can be maintained.
Cash donations can also be left via a glass partition in the reception area.
