Areas of uncut grass to increase biodiversity

Cramlington Town Council has been advised that Northumberland County Council are leaving the following areas of grass uncut during the main growing season to increase biodiversity:

Beaconhill Playground, the trees surrounding the park.

Entrance to Beaconhill

Tree line along Bassington Lane/ A1172

Nelson Hill

Ann Welfare, inside / under the trees at Ann Welfare.

The mounds on Dudley Lane/Barns Park side of Dudley Lane.

Under the trees in Alexandra Park opposite Garforth Close

Alexandra Park (Hill)

These areas will be cut at the beginning and end of the season.
