Capture Cramlington: Enter Our Photo Competition

Could your photo be the next cover of Cramlington Today?

Cramlington Town Council is inviting local photographers to submit their best shot for a chance to feature on the magazine cover – and win a £50 Love2Shop voucher!

We are looking for photos that highlight Cramlington! Whether it’s a favourite local landmark, a hidden green space, or a moment that captures the spirit of the town, we’d love to see Cramlington through your lens.

Eligibility: Open to everyone
Brief: Photos taken in Cramlington and East Hartford – any subject
Submission: email your entry to brigitte@cramlingtontowncouncil.gov.uk
Deadline: 11:59pm, Saturday 28th February 2026

A selection of submitted images will be featured on the Town Council’s website, social media pages and newsletter showcasing the incredible talent of our community photographers. Each featured photo will have a credit label for the submitting photographer.

Terms and conditions of entry:

– All entries must be submitted in a high resolution JPG or PNG format and be emailed in to: brigitte@cramlingtontowncouncil.gov.uk

– We are welcoming submissions from all ages, under 18’s must have parental permission to enter.

– Closing date: 11:59pm Saturday 28th February 2026

– No watermarked photos please

– No AI-generated images

– If your image includes people, you must have their permission for the photo to be used

– The photo must be taken of an area within the Cramlington or East Hartford boundary

– By submitting the image, you are confirming that you give permission for Cramlington Town Council to use your image for marketing purposes. This includes but is not limited to: use on the Cramlington Town Council website and Social Media Pages and use on printed copy in the case of the ‘Cramlington Today’ magazine.

– All photos submitted must be the property of the submitting party

– Please ensure you have listed a name to be credited for the photo.

– Please include your name, age if under 18, and contact details. (We will endeavour to contact you via email but may need to speak to you in person)

– If your photograph is selected for the cover of the ‘Cramlington Today’ newsletter, we would like to recognise you as the chosen individual. This may include a post featuring you holding a printed copy of the newsletter. Please confirm when you enter if you are comfortable with having a photo of yourself taken and included in the post for publicity purposes. (This may be use on social media, our website and submitted as a wider press article)

– The council reserves the right to remove or refuse any entry from the competition for any reason
