Car wash planning application withdrawn

Cramlington Town Councillors objected to a proposal for 12 parking spaces for a hand car wash and valeting operation along with the installation of an office and erection of a canopy on land at Manor Walks Shopping Centre.

Councillors felt it would have taken up valuable parking spaces adjacent to Asda and that a car wash at this location would have added to congestion already experienced in the Manor Walks car park.

In the light of objections the application from Waves Valeting Services has now been withdrawn.
