Christmas Tree recycling information

Real Christmas trees can be recycled into good quality compost or soil conditioner, or into chippings.

You can take them to Bebside Household Waste Recovery Centre, Hathery Lane, Bebside, NE24 4HN during normal site opening times- 8am to 6pm – where they are collected and recycled along with other items of garden waste.

To make it easier to recycle your tree, there are additional collection points  at the following locations:

Alexandra Park – Cramlington

Manor Walks South, Cramlington

East Cramlington Nature Reserve car park – NE23 6XG

These  additional collection points are in use until Wednesday January 9th.
