Community Chest Grant Supports Free Easter Event at East Cramlington Nature Reserve
Cramlington Town Council is pleased to announce that a grant of £783 has been awarded by its Community & Youth Committee to support a local Easter community event.
The funding has been provided to the Cramlington and District Red Squirrel Group to deliver a free Easter Egg Nature Trail event for the community. The event will take place at East Cramlington Nature Reserve on Saturday 4 April, from 10:00am to 2:00pm.
This family-friendly event will include a nature trail, face painting and an egg decorating competition, encouraging children and families to get involved and celebrate the Easter period outdoors.
As places are limited, attendees are asked to confirm their attendance in advance by emailing cadredsquirrelgroup@gmail.com or by contacting the Cramlington & District Red Squirrel Group via Facebook.
This initiative has been made possible through the Council’s Community Chest Grant scheme, which supports local groups and charities in delivering activities and events that benefit the wider community.
