Community Chest helps Guides learn life-long skills

The 1^st Cramlington Guides are delighted to receive £500 from Cramlington Town Council Community Chest.

The money will be used to help the girls learn life skills such as cooking nutritious low-cost meals and how to budget for family meals.

The grant will also fund outdoor cooking facilities which will enable the group to learn about foraging, woodcrafts and the care of the environment.

Food hygiene training for the group leaders will also be paid for from the Community Chest funding.
