Council-funded Coronation crafts on offer for youngsters during school Easter holidays
Cramlington Town Council is offering some right royal fun during the Easter school holidays with their latest free activities.
The council is funding Cramlington Caribbean Crew who have lined-up Coronation-themed arts, crafts and games sessions in Mayfield Community Centre.
On Tuesday April 11 the session for Reception to Year 2 pupils will run between 9.30am and 12.30pm. On the same day the session for Year 3 to 6 pupils will run between 1pm and 4pm.
On Wednesday April 12 the session for Reception to Year 2 pupils will run between 9.30am and 12.30pm. On the same day the session for Year 3 to 6 pupils will run between 1pm and 4pm.
On Friday April 14 the activities are on offer for SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) pupils with Reception to Year 2 pupil sessions on between 9.30am and 12.30pm and later the same day the session for Year 3 to 6 pupils will run between 1pm and 4pm.
Councillor Helen Morris, Chair of Cramlington Town Council’s Community and Youth Committee said “We have teamed up with Cramlington Caribbean Crew again because we know they do a great job and the youngsters really love the craft activities and games. This time it will be a little bit different as the activities are Coronation-themed, which sounds like a lot of fun!”
