Council Funded Youth Club has a new home.

Cramlington Town Council are delighted to announce that a new Youth Club will be starting on Thursday 9^th November at the newly restored Eastfield Pavilion.

Following extensive work done to the old Pavilion by Rockets Community, this new facility, now rechristened “the launchpad”, will host Cramlington Voluntary Youth Project (CVYP) youth workers, who will run sessions on an initial pilot period every Thursday through till March 2024. CVYP will provide a range of different activities, a warm space to relax in and refreshment to young people aged between 12-17 years. The club will be open from 6pm till 8pm and is free to attend for all participants.

Cramlington Town Council have funded youth clubs and outreach work since October 2022, working in partnership with CVYP, Beaconhill Community Centre and the Church of Nazarene volunteer groups. This partnership has grown further, with Rockets Community now involved in providing community activities at their new home.

Due to this launch, sessions at the Church of Nazarene on Friday evening will now be open to young people from the age of 8 through to 13, to ensure there is more age-appropriate provision provided at the sessions.
