Council funds summer activities at CVYP

A summer of fun is on the cards for Cramlington Voluntary Youth Project thanks to a donation of £2500 from Cramlington Town Council.

During the summer holidays CYYP is organising a range of activities and fun-packed days for youngsters ranging from circus skills to beach activities and team challenges at their Chirdon Head expedition centre in Kielder.

Claire Gascoigne, Youth Development Coordinator at CVYP said “We are very grateful to  Cramlington Town Council for this funding – the benefits of being active outdoors are clear and this money will help us give vulnerable young people fun, physical exercise and mental wellbeing over the holiday period.”
