Council offers a summer of fun activities!

Cramlington Town Council has teamed up with Rockets Community Foundation to fund a series of multi-sport sessions for local youngsters during the school summer holidays.

Cramlington Town Mayor, Councillor Helen Morris said: “We are very excited by this new partnership.”

“Rockets Community Foundation have a proven track record of delivering quality sporting activities for youngsters and The Launch Pad (formerly Eastfield Pavillion) is a great central venue.”

“Lunches will be provided for those youngsters attending”

“I know the kids will have so much fun and the sessions are going to be very popular so don’t delay – book a place for your youngster now!”

Rockets Community Foundation Lead, Steve Beaty added, “This is a great scheme. Children aged between 6-11 will be offered a variety of sporting activities including rugby, football, dodgeball, cricket, rounders etc and more!”

“We have a fantastic, experienced team here at the Launch Pad and we are looking forward to meeting the youngsters in the summer holidays.”

The multi-sports sessions are on Monday and Tuesday, from 10am – 2pm during weeks 1-5 of the school summer holidays (22nd July till 20th August).

It is for Primary School Age youngsters, Yr2-Yr6 Inc Leavers (6-11) who live in Cramlington (postcode required when booking).
