Council offers continued support to school following vandalism
Cramlington Town Council is delighted to offer continued support to Burnside Primary School following vandalism to their outdoor learning area a couple of months ago.
Trays of winter bedding plants were delivered to the school this week by Joel Clough and Jay Simpson from the council’s Operation Team and their colleagues Maggie Martin and Lindsey Dorner.
The school’s Outdoor Learner Marcia McMullen (pictured four from right) was thrilled to receive the plants saying “We are very grateful for this donation. The plants will be well used in our outdoor areas which go surround the school and are used by every class. We were so disappointed when vandals wrecked our pond area and we appreciated the work of the council team when they helped us clear up the mess. These flowers will add some cheery colour to see us through the winter months. Thank you Cramlington Town Council!”
