Cramlington Town Council thanks Air Cadets for their help at litter pick

January 29, 2020

Cramlington Town Council presented Certificates of Appreciation to 242 (Cramlington) Squadron, Royal Air Force Cadets, in acknowledgement of their help at a litter pick in the town.

Councillor Paul Ezhilchelvan invited the cadets to take part in the litter pic at Valley Park in September and Sergeant Liam Waite RAFAC accepted the invitation on behalf of the cadets.

The group invited Cllr Ezhilchelvan to one of their meetings along with Town Mayor Loraine De Simone who presented the certificates saying “On behalf of Cramlington Town Council I am delighted to present the cadets with these certificates which recognise the time and effort they gave to do a good deed which was for the benefit of the town’s residents”.
