A selection of photographs from today’s Remembrance ceremony at the War Memorial in Cramlington Village.

Following the last post and two-minute silence, the Deputy Lord Lieutenant laid the first wreath, followed by Cramlington and Killingworth MP Emma Foody and Cramlington Town Mayor, Councillor Helen Morris.

Representatives from local groups and organisations then laid their wreaths as the names of the fallen heroes were read aloud.

A large number of residents gathered to pay their respects. The ceremony concluded with a parade past the memorial, applauded by the crowd.

Cramlington Town Council would like to thank the Cramlington Branch Royal British Legion for leading today’s events, the operations team for preparing the village green and all the groups, organisations, and individuals who took part and helped honour those who gave their lives in service.
