Cramlington Town Council FREE half term holiday activities
Cramlington Town Council has joined forces with local organisations to provide a range of FREE holiday activities during the upcoming spring half term holiday.
There are three types of activity available across five days between February 21st and February 25th.
The council-funded sessions include a Carnival Camp at Eastfield Pavilion between 10am and 1pm on the Monday and Tuesday. Led by Cramlington Caribbean Crew the workshops are aimed at children aged between 5-15 years-old and will focus on spring-themed music, arts and crafts.
Wednesday’s session is at Concordia between 10am-12-pm and is a sports camp for children with additional needs organised by Smile Through Sport.
Dodgeball, football and a host of other activities are on offer on the Thursday and Friday between 1pm-3pm at Seven Oaks Park. This multi-sport camp is run by Active Future.
While the places are free they MUST be pre-booked via steve@cramlingtontowncouncil.gov.uk
Cramlington Town Council’s Youth Network Co-ordinator Steve Beaty said: “The Town Council’s holiday activity provision is designed to reach as many children as possible – and it’s FREE! I’m sure that yet again it will prove to be very popular. Spaces are limited and bookings will be taken on a first come, first served basis so don’t delay – book your places as soon as possible”.
“I’m really looking forward to seeing our Cramlington youngsters enjoy these sessions. We welcome feedback from the activity sessions as we continually change and adapt them – we are already planning the Easter holiday camps!”
