Cramlington Town Council is pleased to announce it has awarded £600 to 2nd Cramlington Scouts through the Community Chest Grants scheme to support an event celebrating the 40th birthday of Beaver Scouting, taking place this April.

Beaver Scouts (or Beavers) is the youngest section of the Scouting movement, for children aged 6 to 8.

The funding will help deliver a fun day of activities, including a range of challenges linked to Beaver badge work, supporting young people to develop new skills, build confidence, enjoy the outdoors, and meet other Beaver Scouts.
