Cramlington’s new History & Heritage Hub is looking for members

“A people without the knowledge of their past is like a tree without roots”

 

Cramlington Town Council has become increasingly aware of the interest shown in the heritage and development of Cramlington over the years.

The latest examples of events based on local history, namely the photographic exhibition in the Community Hub and the historical walks led by Doreen Morton, generated much feedback and discussion.

The Town Council is hoping similar interest will be shown in the formation of a History and Heritage Hub.

This community led Hub will meet monthly with the aim to forge networks, research the history of Cramlington and develop local projects and events.

The first meeting will take place in Cramlington Town Council offices on Tuesday 5^th July at 1pm
