Bridge Northumberland is a voluntary programme to help people living in Northumberland who are out of work and aged 16+ to overcome barriers to training, education and work.

We help by giving you one to one support from a dedicated Bridge worker who’ll be with you every step of the way to improving your confidence, developing your skills and moving towards employment.

Our support is free and fully funded. The programme is completely voluntary and for anyone who is:

  • Aged 16 years not in education or training
  • 18 to 67 and unemployed or economically inactive
  • Lives in Northumberland
  • Despite the ongoing impact of COVID-19, we are still offering our support to people across Northumberland who want help to seek work, training or start job searching.

We are beginning to meet people face-to-face where appropriate, and are continuing to offer support using the phone, video chats, emails, texts and postal methods. Please get in touch to find out more.
