‘Cramlington Folk Club was established in 1972 and we are one of the longest running folk clubs in the country. We meet every Wednesday, starting at 7.30 pm.
There are guest performers every other week and singers nights in between. It’s quite common to have as many as twelve to fourteen acts on singers nights!
We have always provided a wide variety of music and styles from traditional and contemporary folk to blues and bluegrass. If you are in the area please drop in, you may be pleasantly surprised.
Everyone is welcome, whether to perform or just to enjoy the music and have a drink. Singers wishing to perform should make sure their name is on the list by 8pm at the latest.
We are proud to be known as one of the friendliest clubs in the Country’.

Cramlington Doorstep Walks is a series of way marked short walks in and around the town, suitable for people of all ages and abilities, which are easily accessible ‘from your doorstep’.
The town already has a comprehensive and well established cycling and walking network and the project will help to redefine the routes for local people, while identifying opportunities for further development.
Doorstep walks have been developed in South East, West and North Cramlington, each signposted with colourful new waymarkers stating direction, distances and estimated completion time to walk the coloured route. Information stands have been erected on each walk to explain the various routes and a new glossy leaflet has been created which will be posted to every household in Cramlington throughout July.
The walks vary in length, most being between 1.5 to 3 miles in distance, which could take between 30 minutes to an hour to walk.
