Learnyay helps adults find free education courses and training by connecting them with ESFA and local authority funded colleges, schools and training providers in their area.
A training company based in Blyth delivering training for 16 – 18 year-olds through study and traineeship programmes.
They support young people from Blyth, Ashington, Cramlington, Bedlington, Morpeth and beyond and also offer training for 19+ learners some funded and some self funded.
Monday – Friday 8.30 a.m. – 5.00 p.m.
The company have continued to deliver training to young people throughout the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown.
They have used online platforms and all learners who were engaged at this time have successfully completed and passed qualifications.
Whilst the training centre is based in Blyth, they also offer training in other areas if groups of 10 or above are taking part.
They are happy to discuss this outreach work at any time.

Opportunity Knocks (North East) CIC is a small garden / craft activity project based out of the Briardale House venue.
They are a Community Interest Company (CIC) funded by Big Lottery, Tesco Bags and Community Chest.
They work with people who have mental health issues and are looking to develop work they started prior to Covid-19 working with refugees looking to develop their English through volunteer work in the garden centre.

COVID-19 UPDATE
Our staff have been furloughed during lockdown but we are aiming to get up and running again very soon, we will however, have to change the way we work, the number of people able to access the site at the same time, one way systems in place etc in order to comply with government guidelines and keep everyone safe.
