‘You may have passed by our little church building on Durham Road and wondered what on earth the Church of the Nazarene is and why does it exist here in Cramlington. A commonly asked question is “What type of church are you”? Firstly, we are part of the church of Jesus Christ which has been around for centuries, and we work under the name of the Church of the Nazarene which is part of the worldwide church of Christ.’
Sunday Worship:
We enjoy getting together and worshipping our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. We meet on Sunday morning for worship, through song, prayer, music, bible reading and of course, the preaching of God’s word.
We seek to cater for the entire spiritual needs of our fellowship. On the first Sunday of every month we have communion, with food and fellowship after the service for those who would like to stay. And there is always time for a cup of tea/coffee and biscuit to talk afterwards.
Sunday Morning Service: 10:30pm
Walking Group: there are a few of us who gather and go for a short walk together. Monday 7pm we walk for about 30 minutes.
Parent and Toddler Group:
Our Parent and Toddler group is run in 3 sessions throughout the week. On Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. This is run at the church by a great volunteer team. It is a safe environment for children to play, do crafts and sing. Parents and carers get a chance to talk while being able to supervise their children. Prayer group
We host a prayer group on a Tuesday evening at the church from 7:30.pm . All welcome.

We host a refugee hub on. Thursday from 2pm – 4pm. We are here to help in any way we can. We also plan to host English lessons as well. If you need any help please come an join us.
Open Door:
This fellowship group meets on Thursday afternoons and is open to anyone who is able to come. Bring your lunch, and enjoy a cup of tea/coffee, with a little chat. It is about coming together, getting to know one another, not taking ourselves seriously, and enjoying time with one another. We open up Scripture and share what the Lord has placed on our hearts to encourage each other.
Doxford Place Methodist Church
The Methodist Movement was formed by John and Charles Wesley and encouraged discipleship, mission and sharing of The Good News. The Methodist Movement continued after John Wesley’s death and different strands of Methodists united in 1932 forming the Methodist Church of Britain. In the 21st century, the Methodist Church here at Doxford continues to promote those same core values encouraged by John and Charles Wesley.
Our church building celebrates the bringing together of several congregations from smaller chapels in the Cramlington area over fifty years ago as Cramlington expanded and developed into a larger town. You’ll find us by the cycle path between Seven Oaks Park and Alexandra Park.
We are an inclusive church where all are warmly welcomed.

We meet for weekly worship, led by a Minister or Lay Preacher from across the SE Circuit, through song, prayer, scripture and music. Communion is usually celebrated once per month followed by Tea/Coffee and chat. The Stewards are always on duty to welcome newcomers as well as regular attenders.

This is run by a very experienced team of volunteers in the church hall which offers lots of space for play. Parent/ Carers stay throughout and enjoy watching the children socialize through their play activities and snack time.

St. Nicholas’ Church is the traditional church visible in the middle of the town and as such is a popular venue for weddings and baptisms.

We are a group of volunteers who tend the village churchyard The council cut the grass and strim the graves. We tend the borders, flower beds and remembrance gardens and keep trees and bushes under control.
1st Saturday monthly from 9am. Our volunteers also work times to suit themselves.
Cramlington Camera Club puts on a programme of events during weekly meetings from the beginning of September until the beginning of May. These include guest speakers, competitions for prints (colour and monochrome) and for PDIs (Projected Digital Images), presentations from club members, and opportunities to take photographs and learn about your camera.
There is an annual subscription fee of £28.00 and an entrance fee of £1.00. The subscription fee reduces to £14.00 after 1 January, to reflect the fact that only half a season remains.
Presently, meetings are held in Doxford Methodist Church on Thursdays starting at 19:30 and usually end at about 21:00. Tea and Coffee is served during the half hour before each meeting.

The Royal British Legion is the UK’s leading Armed Forces charity and one of its largest membership organisations. Members get together through the network of branches and clubs all over the country and overseas to participate in social, fundraising and welfare activities.
