Free drop-in events for leaseholders

June 14, 2019

Cramlington Development Trust have organised two days of drop-in events for leaseholders within the town.

An increasing number of residents are discovering they face bills of thousands of pounds if they want to move or remortgage their homes as their properties were originally purchased with 99 year leases when they were built in the 1960s,70s and 80s.
Following a successful event last October, further meetings have been arranged for June 25th and 26th at Cramlington Village Club.
For leasehold flat owners on Tuesday 25th June, from 3pm, Louie Burns explains your legal rights with round table meetings and one-to-ones  and from 7pm explains how leases can be extended or purchased.
For leasehold house owners on Wednesday 26th June, from 3pm, Louie Burns will explain your legal rights with round table meetings and one-to-ones and from 7pm will explain how to purchase your freehold house.
