Free holiday activities will keep youngsters on the go!
Circus skills, skateboarding, multi-sports, music, carnivals and storytelling – these are just some of the FREE children’s activities being provided by Cramlington Town Council during the school summer holidays.
Town Mayor Councillor Helen Morris, who is also Chair of the Council’s Community and Youth Committee said: “This is the fourth year we are funding free activities during the summer holiday school break and I’m very impressed with the choice on offer – juggling, stories, skateboarding, music and multisports – our Youth Coordinator has produced a fantastic line-up. Bookings are through the activity providers and as ever the places are on a first come–first served basis so don’t delay!”

Hive Storytellers have created a fantasy audio trail at Northumberlandia where you will be entranced by a host of magical characters who tell you their stories as you enjoy a woodland stroll.

Fancy some juggling and balancing? Control and Move Fitness are providing circus style sessions for young people aged 5-14? At Zone 22 on High Pit Road.

Back by popular demand! Team Rubicon are making a return visit to Alexandra Park with their skateboarding and scooter training sessions – and they are suitable for all ages.
There is room for twenty students at any one time – first come first served – just go to the skateboard park, equipment can be provided.
Dates: Mondays 24th July, 31st July, 7th Aug, 14th Aug and 21st Aug between 10am and 2pm.
Smile Through Sport are providing multi-sports family activities for families and their young people who have any additional needs or SEND. The sessions are at Nelson Village Community Centre and places should be booked directly via info@smilethroughsport.com

Roll-up, roll-up for some carnival fun with Cramlington Caribbean Crew! Their weekly sessions will include carnival style activities such as music, carnival costumes, arts and crafts. There will also be the option to perform at Cramlington Wellbeing Festival on Saturday 19th -20th August.
Held at Mayfield Community Centre, the sessions are open to youngsters age 5-11 years. (Rec – Yr6 School year ending July 2023)
