Gardening on the roundabout…

A colourful new entrance to the town has been created by Cramlington Town Council’s Operations Team who have planted a selection of herbaceous plants on the new roundabout at the junction between Station Road and the A1171.

The chosen colour scheme features greys and purples and the planting includes a grasses such as festuca glauca and carex, blue and cream agapanthus, verbena lavender lace, rhododendrons and crocosmia.

In planting terms it is early days but as they grow and fill out we look forward to seeing this entrance to the town in full bloom.
