Giant poppy fundraising success
We are delighted to announce that £435 has been raised for the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal through people sponsoring the giant red blooms that have adorned Cramlington lampposts for the past two weeks.
The Cramlington Branch of the RBL sourced the poppies and Cramlington Town Council staff erected 150 of them along the major routes in the town.
The parties involved with the scheme have been delighted with the positive feedback that has been received about the poppies and their use to raise funds.
