Gymnastics club stalwart gains well-deserved recognition.

March 14, 2022

At the recent #LoveCramlington Awards, organised by Cramlington Town Council, the Community Volunteer Award went to Leslie Hodgson from the Northern Gymnastics Club.

He has dedicated a huge amount of time as a volunteer during the 14 years of the club’s history as a coach, mentor, finance officer, health and safety officer, fundraiser and handyman and has also made an outstanding contribution as a project manager.

Leslie was unable to attend the awards ceremony but has now been presented with his trophy by Sgt Dave Turner (pictured) of Northumbria Police.
