Help for hats from our Community Chest

A grant from Cramlington Town Council’s Community Chest has been given to a community group that are making hats to give to anyone that needs one over the winter.

The Creative Card Craft group have been given £150 to buy wool so they can produce hats that will be placed on a Christmas tree at the entrance to Cramlington Community Hub.

Anyone that needs a hat will be welcome to take one when the tree is on display between November 1st to the 28^th.

Cramlington Town Council’s Community and Youth Manager Maggie Martin handed the money over to Sandra Allaway and Ann Elliott from the group.
