Help record our local plants and wildlife on Cramlington Conservation Day
You are invited to join Cramlington Town Council on their Cramlington Conservation Day next Tuesday (25th) and help record our local flora and fauna.
The Council has arranged two nature rambles where Environmental Records Information Centre North East (ERIC) will be on hand to show how to log the data.
ERIC ask that you install the ‘iNaturalist’ App on your smartphone and then all you have to do is enjoy a walk taking photos of leaves, flowers and wildlife etc as you go along.
The sessions are at Lanercost Nature Area from 10am – 12pm and Horton Burn from 1pm – 3pm (meeting at Horton Park) where there will also be the opportunity to take part in a litter pick.
