Help us keep Cramlington Fit For Feb!
Cramlington Town Council, in partnership with Rise #NEMovement, has launched its Fit For Feb campaign, to motivate residents to kickstart a journey to better health during the Coronavirus pandemic.
During recent months people have realised how precious their health is and have recognised that they want to improve their wellbeing.
Our campaign is about empowering individuals and groups by promoting healthy behaviour choices that will reduce the risks when facing serious illnesses such as COVID-19 and the flu.
There are lots of green spaces across town where you can exercise in a variety of ways – cycling, jogging, skateboarding, walking your dog, keeping fit with friends.
And many ways to exercise inside your home – breakfast keep fit to start off your day, joining in a PE lesson with your children, following a TV instructor or dancing to your favourite music to name a few.
Whatever your preferred way of keeping fit, let us know, share your experiences and be part of our #ActiveCramlington campaign.
Through our social media accounts we will share with you a variety of initiatives, advice and tips, case studies and ideas that will increase your mobility and boost your spirits – and in return we ask that you share with us your ideas and inspiration so that we can all take ownership of our health.
