The rich and diverse history of Cramlington is being showcased with three information boards that are in the process of being installed around the town.

Local historians were involved with producing the text and images and the project is part of the Cramlington Town Council planting and environmental works programme.

The boards are being placed in the town centre,  Northumberlandia and Alexandra Park and focus on the development of the town, the aerodrome and local mining heritage.
