It’s blooming good news for Cramlington!
The efforts to create a beautiful floral display in Cramlington have been rewarded with a Silver Gilt award at the annual Northumbria In Bloom presentations. The floral displays and summer planting together with well-maintained parks and hard work from community groups saw the town collect a Silver Gilt for the third year running.
Other Cramlington winners are: Northumberlandia; Gold, Tourist and visitor attractions.
Cramlington Village Primary School;Silver, schools category.
St Nicholas’s Church; Bronze, Religious Establishments
John the Clerk, Silver Gilt, Pubs and Hotels.
Alexandra Park; Silver Gilt, Parks category
Crowhall Lane Allotments; Silver Gilt, Allotments category
Surveyors House; Silver Gilt, Grounds of a public building.
Town Council chairman John Collins said ‘It has been great to seen the town pull together to produce such a terrific display and it is appropriate that these efforts and been recognised with a number of awards – they are a deserved accolade for the whole community. Now we move forward with these achievements and strive to be even better next year!’
