It’s panto time in Cramlington – oh yes it is!

You’ll be howling with laughter if you pop along to see the latest production from Blagdon Amateur Thespian Society (B.A.T.S.)…

Red Riding Hood is being staged at Cramlington Village Community Centre from January 15th to January 18th.

Family fun and theatrical drama and lined up to entertain the audience at the annual show that is now a highlight for many – indeed B.A.T.S have been staging pantomimes for over 35 years.

Many members of the cast are long-standing and some of those in lead roles this year started out as shy youngsters years ago but the group is always looking for new members, whether on stage or helping with the other roles required to produce a performance.

Costs are kept to a minimum as B.A.T.S always present their profit to local charities. Props and backcloths are made in-house and Choppington company In Disguise Leisure Lines provided the costumes.
