Cramlington Town Council and Northumberland Wildlife Trust are coming together to celebrate north east women as part of the  International Women’s Day celebrations on Monday March 8th.

The day of song, celebration and activities already includes a dance performance by Catherine Muckle, online classes from  Northumberlandia Yoga teacher Michelle Bauera and arts activities by a local artist Jenny Ironside.

We are looking for women who would like to come and be part of the day, choirs, bands, singers, artists, writers, bush-crafters, foragers – we would love you to come and share your skills, thoughts and ideas on how together can celebrate the day which this year has the theme #ChoseToChallenge

NB: The event will hopefully take place at our very own Lady of the North, Northumberlandia but if restrictions continue we will do it virtually!!

Claire Darcy from Northumberland Wildlife Trust will make arrangements for pre-recorded activities which will be shown throughout the day via the NWT website and on social media.
