Join us for festive fun in Cramlington this December!

Cramlington is set for a joyful December, with a programme of festive community events taking place across the town. From concerts and carol singing to pantomimes and Santa’s sleigh tour, there’s something for everyone to enjoy this Christmas season!

Christmas Tree switch on – Weds 26th November 4pm
Cramlington Town Mayor Helen Morris will be kicking off our programme of events by turning on the lights of the Christmas Tree on the village green. 

Santa’s Sleigh Tour – Friday 5th December
Santa and Mrs Claus will be visiting Cramlington from 6–8pm, greeting children at ASDA car park (Manor Walks), Alexandra Park, and Cramlington Hospital (hospitalised children only). Tinsel and Tidings Christmas Concert – Saturday 6th December

Cramlington Town Mayor, Councillor Helen Morris, invites residents to a free Christmas concert at St Nicholas Church at 3pm. The Rock Choir will deliver an uplifting festive performance, with the event supporting the Mayor’s chosen charity, Macmillan Cancer Support.

Cinderella Pantomimes – Various Dates Throughout December

A free performance of Cinderella will be hosted at five community venues:

• 2nd December – East Hartford Community Centre
• 10th December – Nelson Village Community Centre
• 12th December – Cramlington Village Community Association
• 16th December – Northburn Sports & Community Centre (SEND-friendly, fully booked)
• 17th December – Beaconhill Community Association

Doors open at 4pm, each panto includes festive crafts and music performances before the show begins at 4:30pm. No booking is required*, just turn up and have fun! *Northburn Community Centre SEND performance is fully booked

Christmas Carols in the Garden – Monday 15th December
At 2pm, the Cramlington Dementia Garden in Coronation Park will host an afternoon of carol singing featuring The St Nicholas Singers and Cragside Choir. The event is free, with optional donations supporting the St Nicholas’ Tower Restoration Fund. Light refreshments will follow in the Masonic Hall.
