Love Cramlington Awards 2026: Sponsors Meet to Shortlist This Year’s Finalists
Last week, Cramlington Town Council welcomed all of this year’s award sponsors to review the nominations and agree their shortlists for the 2026 Love Cramlington Awards.
The CSR Business Award followed a separate process, with its shortlist agreed last week by a small panel of Town Council members.
This has been the biggest year yet for nominations, and choosing a handful of finalists in each category was no easy task. All shortlisted nominees will be contacted directly this week with details of the awards ceremony.
The council would like to thank Cramlington Renewable Energy Developments Limited (CRED), sponsor of this year’s awards ceremony, along with each of this year’s category sponsors:
- Citizen of the Year – sponsored by Lal Qila Tandoori Restaurant, celebrating its 40th year in Cramlington
- Community Group Award – sponsored and judged by Home Instead South East Northumberland
- Charity of the Year – sponsored by Turners Funfairs
- Sports Award and Youth Sports Award – supported by Newcastle Building Society (Cramlington Branch)
- Green Cramlington Award – sponsored by Potts Print, now in its 7th year
- Young Citizen of the Year – sponsored by Manor Walks Shopping Centre
- Youth Group Award – supported by NE Youth
Thank you to everyone who nominated someone this year, and to all of this year’s sponsors for their continued support of the Love Cramlington Awards.
The awards ceremony takes place on Tuesday 27th October. Further updates on this year’s finalists will follow in the coming weeks.
