Mayor and residents lay floral tributes in honour of Queen Elizabeth
Following the death of Her Majesty the Queen, members of the public may wish to lay floral tributes in Cramlington as a mark of respect.
Residents are invited to do so at the on the grassed area next to the War Memorial.
We kindly ask that you remove any cellophane and rubber bands from the flowers before laying them as the flowers will be composted when removed.
Cramlington Town Mayor Loraine De Simone is seen with the wreath she laid on behalf of Cramlington Town Council saying “We all knew this day would come but that doesn’t lessen the sorrow we feel.”
