Mayor supports new Memory Cafe

Cramlington Town Mayor Loraine De Simone was delighted to attend the first Memory Café coffee morning which supports people living with dementia and their partners.

Loraine said “This is a great initiative which I hope will receive support from the people of Cramlington. The Memory Café coffee mornings are held on the first Wednesday of the month at the Welcome Methodist Church on Station Road. The Alzheimer’s Society is a charity I support whole-heartedly and I wish the organisers well with this excellent enterprise.” Loraine (right) is pictured with Linda Harvey (Alzheimer’s Dementia Advisor) and Viv Fish (Fish Electricals).
