Measures to reduce unlawful access

April 26, 2018

Work has started on a series of measures to deter unlawful access onto land to the north of Station Road.
To this end reinforced grass embankments have been placed at all potential access points.
This approach follows discussions with landowners Bellway and Persimmon, Cramlington Town Council and Northumberland County Council following encroachment by travellers in previous years. If anyone witnesses travellers encroaching onto the site we would encourage them to report the matter to the police as soon as possible.
