New holiday kids camp and teen activities at Concordia

With the school holidays just around the corner,  Cramlington Town Council and Active Northumberland have joined forces to line up an action-packed programme of activities at Concordia Leisure Centre to keep young people entertained throughout the holidays.

For younger children aged 8-11 years, a new activity camp will be running daily at the leisure centre from 9am – 3pm between Monday 28th October to Friday 1 November.

Activities include  badminton, football, team games, bowling, swimming, soft play, archery clip and climb and an inflatable assault course.

The cost of £15.00 per day  includes a free hot or cold lunch which has been subsidised by Cramlington Town Council. Booking is essential. 

For the older children, 12 years and above, there will be affordable activity drop in sessions running throughout the week  which will include fitness classes, archery, sports hall inflatables and much more.

The sessions cost just £1 an hour and are being subsidised by Cramlington Town Council to support a wider community activity programme for young people during the school holidays.

The booking system will go live on Monday evening after the free activity taster sessions at Concordia between 4-6pm

Youngsters between the ages of 8 to 12 are invited to a free activity evening  at Concordia Leisure Centre in Cramlington next Monday evening (21 October) to try out the activities on offer such as  clip n climb, soft play, bowling, a fitness class and a range of events in the sports hall.

The event will run from 4-6pm. For this Monday evening event just turn up however some spaces will be limited and offered on a first come first serve basis.
