Nominate a Cramlington Local Hero!

Do you know someone who goes above and beyond to help others in our community? Someone who makes our town a better place, or supports local groups and individuals? It could be a neighbour, a colleague, or a anyone you know who dedicates their time and energy for the greater good.

The #LoveCramlington Citizen of the Year Award is all about recognising these unsung local heroes. Whether they lend a hand to those in need, lead by example, or simply brighten up our community, we want to shine a light on them.

This award is sponsored and judged by Lal Qila Tandoori Restaurant, currently celebrating its 40th year in Cramlington!

Nominations close: 31st August 2026
The awards will be held on 27th October 2026

You can also pick up a paper nomination form from reception at Cramlington Town Council offices, 27/28 Bamburgh House (upstairs in Manor Walks), where you’ll also find a box to submit your completed nomination.
