Photography Competition Winner Announced
We’re delighted to announce that the winner of our Cramlington Today Photography Competition is Gemma Gee, also known as The Cramlington Forager!
Gemma’s stunning photograph of Seven Oaks Park was chosen by Council staff, who all agreed it beautifully captures the park – with the magnificent oak trees in the foreground and golden sunlight illuminating the landscape beyond.
Gemma is a regular photographer of Cramlington and shared:
“I really enjoy taking photos which showcase local green spaces in a different way, and which might make people question whether it’s local or not! I’m a big believer in making use of our green spaces and we’re very lucky to have such a great variety here in Cramlington.”
Gemma has been awarded a £50 shopping voucher and was also given a sneak peek of the upcoming Spring/Summer edition of Cramlington Today, where her photo will feature on the cover!
The newsletter will be delivered to all homes in Cramlington at the end of April (slightly delayed from March due to the Cramlington South West Ward pre-election period).
A huge thank you to everyone who entered – we received so many brilliant submissions and were truly impressed by the quality and creativity on display.
