Picture perfect – your drawings of Queen are just FAB!
We are delighted to have received our first postcards for the “Cramlington Jubilee Line”.
What is the Cramlington Jubilee Line we hear you ask?
It is a town-wide art installation where all the town’s residents are invited to create an image of Her Majesty on special postcards and these will be hung on lines in various locations around town for the Platinum jubilee celebrations.
We are hoping to hang thousands of pictures of The Queen in venues such as Manor Walks, Cramlington Town Council office and the Community Hub.
Cards have been given to all the schools and various community groups but if you would like to take part there is still time!
Postcards can be collected from Cramlington Town Council office, 27/28 Bamburgh House, Manor Walks (upstairs by the Newcastle Building Society) Monday to Friday 9am-3pm, Tel: 01670 707831 or by emailing maggie@cramlingtontowncouncil.gov.uk
We need to have the postcards back by May 18th.
