Public question time and council meeting on Thursday June 20th

The Cramlington Town Council Development and Strategic Management Committee will take place on Thursday 20th June 2019 at Concordia Leisure Centre.

A Public Question Time will be held prior to the Committee meeting and will commence at 6.15pm. The Chair will invite members of the public present to put questions to or draw relevant matters to the attention of, the committee, prior to the commencement of business. Public Question shall be conducted in accordance with rules agreed by the Council under section 1(b) of Standing Orders.

  • MINUTES OF THE LAST MEETING
    To agree the minutes of the Development and Strategic Management Committee meeting held on 16th May 2019.

 

 

 

  • DISCLOSURE OF INTEREST
    Members are requested to advise Council of any declarations of interest appertaining to items on this agenda.
  • ENVIRONMENTAL ENFORCEMENT OFFICER
    Mr David Foy to update Members on matters relating to Environmental Enforcement.

 

 

 

  • SERVICES MANAGER’S REPORT
    To receive the Service Manager’s report on current issues and projects (report attached)
  • CRAMLINGTON CARNIVAL

 

To consider a proposal to hold a summer fair/carnival. Cllr Christine Dunbar to report on approaches to her on this matter.

 

 

  • NOTICE BOARDS

 

To advise members on the use of ward notice boards.

 

 

  • VE DAY CELEBRATIONS 2020

 

To consider the town council’s approach to supporting events to mark the 75th anniversary of Victory in Europe day.

 

 

  • ALLOTMENT INSPECTIONS
    The Administration Manager will give a verbal update in relation to the upcoming allotment inspections.
  • MEMBERS QUESTIONS
    Members are invited to address questions to the Chairman or Clerk and to report matters for consideration by the Committee.

Pursuant to Section 1(2) of the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 members of the Public and Press are excluded due to the confidential nature of the business to be transacted.

 

 

  • PRESENTATION.

 

Representatives of Banks Mining will outline details of proposals to extend activity at Shotton Grange.

 

 

  • SURVEYORS HOUSE UPDATE

 

The Services Manager will update members in relation to the window refurbishment project.
