Right Royal Rumpus raises a laugh…

There was a Right Royal Rumpus in Cramlington over the weekend as two foolish footmen and a rather large Corgi called Colin caused chaos…

The capers were all part of Cramlington Town Council’s coronation offering and thanks to the performances from Life of Reilly there were giggles aplenty for families in Manor Walks and the comedy sketches engaged with local residents.

As our pictures show, local families had a hoot as children went up on stage to dress up and join in the fun. Mayor of Cramlington, Councillor Loraine De Simone said “The Coronation can be marked in many ways and by staging ‘A Right Royal Rumpus’ we offered some great family fun, evidenced by the laughs and smiles on the children’s faces – what fun!”
