Road resurfacing schedule

This years Micro Asphalt programme will be starting soon and the works will be carried out on behalf of NCC by contractor Colas on a rolling road closure.
The County Council will be carrying out a letter drop to inform residents.
Micro Asphalt is a thin covering to preserve the existing road surface and increase its longevity. The process can appear somewhat messy when first laid and can require several visits by a sweeper to remove loose chippings. Consequently there will be a delay in the road markings being reapplied.
Below are the locations and dates of work to be carried out:
Gilderdale Way (Cramlington South east ward) All new work Starting Friday 1st of June for 1 day
Carlcroft . (Cramlington South east ward ) All new work Starting Monday 4th of June for 1 day
Nairn Road (Cramlington West ward ) All new work Starting Saturday 2nd of June for 1 day
Alderley Way (Cramlington Eastfield ward ) All new work Starting Monday 4th of June for 2 days.
