Cramlington’s Royal Memories

As we look forward to Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in June, Cramlington Town Council would love to see your memories or photographs from the past 70 years.

Can you remember the Coronation or did your family tell you how they celebrated 2^nd June 1953?

More recently, did you see her Majesty when she opened Concordia or visited the new TA Centre?

We would also love to see your photos if you had a street party for her Silver Jubilee in 1977 or her Golden Jubilee in 2002.

Do you have connections to her through your work, received a letter from her or been invited to a Buckingham Palace Garden Party?

Maybe you have composed a poem to mark this unique occasion or would just like to tell us what Her Majesty means to you…

As she becomes the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee we would hear about your royal recollections, and we will share them as part of Cramlington’s Jubilee celebrations between June 2-5.
